Top 10 job seeking stunts

200x175.jpgJOB-SEEKERS are resorting to wacky methods such as sending their CV cut into jigsaw puzzles or posting a bowling pin with the message 'I'll bowl you over,' to impress potential employers.

Other bizarre antics include the would-be worker who took a picture of himself with every one of a company's products, and then sent the photo's in the post over the period of a month.

The examples are just some highlighted by jobs website, The Creative Group, who say it tends to be people in creative industries such as advertising and PR who use the stunts.

Top 10 stunts by job seekers


1.) One sent a bowling pin to a potential employer with a not saying, 'I'll bowl you over'

2.) One sent a potential employer a shoe "to get a foot in the door"

3.) Someone had their name printed on golf balls that got into the hands of executives who were hiring.

4.) One used an office building across the street to place a sign with his qualifications posted.

5.) Someone put up posters of himself in the garage where the executive of a company he liked, parked.

6.) One woman sent an egg carton with faux eggs and a message saying she
'delivered fresh ideas daily.'

7.) One applicant sent six postcards, and each was a piece of a puzzle. When you put the puzzle together, it was his CV.

8.) Someone sent his CV on a big hamburger roll, saying his 'brains were on a roll.'

9.) One sent a baseball mitt saying he wanted to be 'part of the team.'

10.) Another sent a piggy bank with his art samples inside. The employer says he called "just to find out how he got his artwork into the bank."
