Metropolitan Police Hacked
Hackers have broken into the Met police website - leaving them with an taunting comments about their counter-terrorism unit and an image of a green teddy bear on their front page. The teddy Brobee, a character from children's TV series Yo Gabba Gabba, is quoted on the site saying: "I see that teh so15 anti-terrorism anti-lulz police are hiring more incompetent nervy edgy sociopaths to make London's streets just that little bit safer! Oh lulz."
A spokesman for the Met said the page had been noticed and since put back to normal.
"We are aware of an unauthorised image and text having been placed on the Met Careers internet site," a statement issued by the force said.
"The Met Careers site is managed by an external company who are responsible for its upkeep.
"We will discuss this with the service provider at the earliest possible time."
