Sat-nav golf buggies for lost players
A golf club has introduced buggies with built in sat-nav systems to tells players where the next hole is. Bosses say they hope the £4,000 carts will prevent golfers with a lack of direction from getting lost as they make their way from hole to hole.
The technology can also be used to know exactly how far you are from a hole when planning a shot and records the scores of everyone in your group.
The club in the Forest of Arden, Solihull says the buggy is already proving popular with players who pay £20 to hire them at weekends and £15 on weekdays.
The hi-tech buggy will also help golfers with the 19th hole - the can order drinks from the bar so they are ready when they arrive.
