Moss bath-mat lives on dripping bath water
There's something odd growing in the bathroom, but not in a bad way ... it's just a new bath-mat.
A designer has created a unique bath-mat which is made from 70 balls of Island and Forest moss held together in a foam frame.
She claims the 'moss carpet' feels good underfoot, is incredibly relaxing and will NOT smell when it gets wet.
Nguyen La Chanh, from Switzerland says the idea came to her when trying to think of a new way of having your plants inside your home.
"The idea was to a new way of having your plants inside. Not only plants in pots quietly standing in the corner of a living room but alive plants, evolving in the house," she said.
"It is kept alive by the humidity of the bathroom and the drops of water flowing from the body. This vegetation carpet procures a great feeling to your feet."
La Chanh - who graduated in industrial design from ECAL in Switzerland - is currently looking for an internship at a design firm.
