Deer rescued from sea by lifeboat crew (Video)

275x250.jpgA dopey deer which got trapped on a cliff and then jumped into the sea, had to be rescued by a lifeboat crew.

The terrified animal had become stranded at the base of Durlston Head, Dorset when Swanage RNLI were called out to try and recover it.

However before they could reach it, the deer panicked and dived head-first into the surf.

As the waves bashed the rocks, the lifeboat crew got closer and were able to drag the deer to the safety of the D class inshore lifeboat.

The RSPCA were called in and said that other than being shocked the deer was in good shape, it will now be released on the beach in Durlston Bay… like it will want to go surfing now.
